Yakiniku Toraji, successfully fulfils each word of their tagline: the world famous thick cuts of meat and the best Yakiniki experience. Frankly, Yakiniku Toraji is one of our most magically memorable meals in KL. This time, we bought Lenglengz and DannyOne 溫力銘 to experience their new menu. Make this your next dinner if you are visiting Isetan The Japan Store.
We began with Wasabi Salad as a starter.
Spicy Kalbi Bone, one of the signature dish here. The meat is absolutely delicious with their special BBQ marinade.
Chanja, this is SPECIAL. Highly recommended to those who love cheese, give it a try and ask the chef what it is only after you eat it. You will be surprised!
Toraji Beef Tongue
Diamond cut kalbi
A5 Japan Wagyu, smooth velvety texture, juicy flavour, a delicate but rich taste will linger on the palate. The taste and flavour spread out in the mouth right after. A 5-star dish.
use Yakiniku Toraji special salt as a relish with A5 Japan Wagyu.
Special garlic & welsh onion soup, don’t be deceived by its look, Lenglengz swigged a mouthful of the soup with relish. She loves it!
Special Kalbi Ishiyaki Bibimbap
Hot and Spicy Yukkejang
Dessert time! Japanese sweet potato is the winner, thoughtfully complemented by 4 flavours ice cream of your choice. Check out the following photos to choose your flavour.
Pistachio Ice cream
Wasabi Ice cream
Green Tea Ice cream
Yuzu Ice cream
For the drinks pairing.. well, it is good to go with beer, honey drink or sake. Manzairaku Junmaiginjyo Gold label Kuroyuri (below) is our favourite drink of the night.
try Honey aloe plus if you prefer something refreshing.
or honey jujube if you like something warm!
of course, beer is mandatory. Teik Sheng enjoyed his 1-litre beer with his wagyu ~ he said his life is perfect now, lolz.
Good news! Yakiniku Toraji has added a new basic set for those who opt for the light portion (RM120 per person) :
Assorted kimchi , salad, sirloin sushi
TORAJI beef tongue, seasoned welsh onion, prawn, scallop
For all Yakiniku Toraji lover, you are advised to make a reservation before visiting as the restaurant is always a full house. Yakiniku Toraji opens as usual during Lot 10 renovation.
