The Fasting month is here again, one of the best thing living in Malaysia is having the pleasure to enjoy the Malay Cuisine. I always love Malay food especially during the Fasting month, no idea why but I find the Malay food tastes especially delicious in this month.

This year, I hardly have time for buffet, being a workaholic, having a buffet dinner is such a luxurious lifestyle. However, for Ramadhan buffet, I would love to spare out some time to fill my taste buds.

Mahligai Nelayanku at Cinnamon Coffee House, One world Hotel has one of the best Ramadhan Buffet. There are so many things for you to eat: from kuih to main course to dessert. Check out the photos below:

I can’t decide which one to start with, the Kambing Opor Daun Selum, Ikan Kari Asam Pedas, Daging Masak Tiga Rasa, Chicken Mandy, Mixed Seafood Paella with Tomato, Beef Wellington and Buttered Tiger Prawn with Cili Padi or Curry Leaves. I tried every single of them all.

There are other specialities such as Daging Deng Deng, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Bubur Lambuk, Sup Gearbox, Daging Kawah, Ayam Percik, Burung Puyuh Berempah and Sup Ekor Lembu Bersantan. One word to describe them : hmmm…sedapnya ~

If you want to try out all the yummies food here, you may visit The Cinnamon Coffee House now, as they have started it since 19th May 2017. A grand feast all lined up to go into your tummy. More than 100 authentic local dishes and flavours, from appetiser to desserts and anything in between to remind you of home.

For those who likes dessert & kuih-muih like me, have your pick of lip smacking desserts such as Jagung Susu Dalam Cawan, Mandarin Orange Crème Caramel, Apple Dadih, Kek Sarang Semut, Pengat Pisang, Bubur Cha Cha and many more to conclude the meal on a high note.

After trying everything there, there are 3 food I would love to recommend ( a must-try):
1. The chicken paella
2. chicken curry puff
3. the roti & the kacang dal kuah

for the beverages I would recommend their teh tarik , it is located right at the entrance of the coffee house.

The Mahligai Nelayanku promotion is available from 6.30pm to 10.30pm nightly. Prices are RM140.00nett per adult and RM70.00nett per children aged 4 – 12 years old from 19 May to 26 May 2017 and RM160.00nett and RM80.00nett respectively from 27 May to 26 June 2017.
