I do not have a chance to visit Japan, happiness kindled my eyes when I get to taste the authentic Japanese home cooking meals from Nippori Cafe @ Empire Damansara. The Japanese chef , Daichi Fukuzato prepares every meal with an authentic measure of heart & earnest effort.

I felt like being in Japan, like the house of Nobita when I was there. It is so comfy and zen , even in the evening.

Nippori, the authentic Japanese Home Cafe offers Teishoku (set meal that comes with the main dish, rice, fresh salad with sesame dressing, vegetables, miso soup and fruits) , Donburi and Udon.

I am a fruit juice / water goer, but this time, we gave Cream Soda a try since Mikayo said it is very popular in Japan. Strawberry Cream Soda RM12

This Tofu with Minced Chicken Donburi RM25 is my favorite and highly recommended for you.

If you like Udon, Mentai Udon with Mini Karaage RM35 is a MUST TRY ❤

For chicken lover, you may try this Juicy Chicken Katsu with Miso Sauce RM35. The thick cut chicken breast is marinated overnight for extra juicy sensation, no wonder la so juicy.

Minced Chicken with Lotus RM35, another common dish found in Japanese home cooking. Minced chicken sandwiched with crispy lotus slice topped with sweet soy sauce and Japanase Mayonnaise, how can you miss this?

Fatty Mackerel fish topped with sea-salt grilled to perfection, it tastes so finger licking good ! Saba with Yasai Oroshi RM38

and the most common Grilled Salmon RM38, anything with salmon won’t go wrong la..

last but not least, the hand-made Japanese Shaved Ice ! Yes, it is handmade because when the chef came to serve us, I can see the sweat on his forehead, it took him 15minutes to prepare this premium ice cream. Chocolate Strawberry Kakigori , the shaved ice is made of mineral water that explains the softness and smoothness of the kakigori. Yooo…how to diet like this?

Overall, highly recommended Japanese Home Cook Cafe, no regret I tell you..hahaha
