What is Bon Odori ? Many thought that it is a Japanese New Year celebration … OH NO NO ~ XXX
Bon Odori (盆踊り), meaning simply Bon dance is a style of dancing performed during Obon. Originally a Nenbutsu folk dance to welcome the spirits of the dead, the style of celebration varies in many aspects from region to region.
This was my 3rd time at Bon Odori, I find it less merry every year. Are Malaysians getting richer whereby they are spending most of their time in Japan, Korea and Europe ? I wish people cherish Bon Odori Malaysia more, or it will soon be gone !
I am here to share some photos on that special evening with you. Thanks Mr. Terrence Teh for the beautiful photos.
and of course.. the 4 of us

I love spending my time with them even though sometime it can be quite tiring to be the centre of attractions. Like seriously each and every time we hang out together , random people just come to us and ask for a photo with us. I swear I'm not exaggerating ☝🏻️ . #bonodori2016 #bonodori #yukata #flyingindance #japan #blogger #youtuber #bff #friendshipgoals #friendship #闺蜜
Our beautiful Yukata rented from John Chua. See you next year !
